WHO I AM
Native Houstonian with a Passion for Houston's History and Houses
My name is Amanda Blanch and I was born and raised in the Houston area. I have singularly focused my professional endeavors within the Real Estate and Property Management arena.
After attending Baylor University, I followed my heart for adventure and relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. There, I worked in brokerage management and as a licensed marketing assistant for one of the area’s top real estate agents. From there, I took my desire to provide exceptional customer service into property management where I had the privilege of working along side and caring for our active duty military and DoD civilians. Over five years and 3 military installations in Massachusetts, Texas and Virginia, I leased and managed Army and Air Force housing to countless active duty service-members and their families.
After all those years living away from Houston, truth be told, I was homesick and finally chose to relocate back to Houston with my husband, Nick, and my two dogs and cats in 2015. Since then, I have worked for Griffin Realty & Associates Team as Director of Client Services. In this position, I gained a wealth of knowledge in Transaction Management and Negotiations, a deeper understanding of my community, and developed proven systems to assist clients with their home sales and purchases. In 2019, I transitioned my skills over to Sticks & Bricks Realty, where I will be able to train an assist new agents in the growth of their real estate career as well as provide tailored services to my dedicated clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy discovering new and old things about Houston, touring local breweries, learning about non-profits and philanthropies changing our world, and plugging into my faith. I also am addicted to self-help books and podcasts. I had the honor of attending and graduating from the West Houston Leadership Institute in 2017, Co-Chair of WHLI Auction and Fundraising Committee, as well as a Founding Committee Member for the Career Connections Education Project in partnership with WHLI.
